Django Developer UK for Freelance Projects

I'm Diane Corriette, a Django developer based in the UK. I take on a small number of freelance Django projects alongside running my own products, so each one gets my full attention.

I build with Python, Django and TailwindCSS, and I use AI-assisted programming to move faster. I trained at Code Institute, where I graduated with Merit in the Full Stack Software Development diploma with an eCommerce focus, and I run my own shops and tools on software I built myself.

If you have a project in mind, email me at hello@todiane.com or connect with me on LinkedIn. Tell me what you want built and I will reply by email.

What I build

What I build as a freelance Django developer in the UK

New Django web apps

From a first idea to a working, deployed app, such as custom dashboards and internal tools. I build the way I build my own products: simple, easy to maintain and happy to run on a server you own.

Existing Django sites

New features and bug fixes for a Django project that already exists. Tell me what it does, what is broken or missing, and where the code lives.

eCommerce and digital product shops

I built Djangify, an eCommerce Builder for people who sell digital products. Stripe checkout and secure downloads are familiar ground.

Why work with me

A Django developer who runs her own business on Django

Being a founder shapes how I take client work. I run my own shops and tools on software I built, so I care about what happens after launch: how easy it is to maintain, how it is hosted, and who owns it.

My own products run on Django. Djangify is the eCommerce Builder behind my shops. Stream English is an eCommerce site with course facilities. DeskLedger is bookkeeping software for UK sole traders. Invoice Generator and the Adminita admin theme are open source. The portfolio has the rest.

A Belbin team role assessment describes me as a Specialist, an Implementer and a Completer Finisher: someone who knows the subject, turns plans into working software and keeps checking until it is right.

It depends on the scope, so I don't publish a rate card. Email me a short description of the project and a budget range if you have one. I will tell you whether it fits and give you a figure after I have read about it.
